I use bug swatter/zappers like I wear shoes and I get the idea he doesn't swing very well, but anyway, I've beat the crap out of the cheap one with the Z or electric symbol on it, they don't last. I used a different rechargeable version this guy doesn't review, and I've killed yellow jackets to bald face Hornets. It actually blows apart their head, it's awesome! as far as cleaning these things... just tapp the top on something and the bugs come right off... jeez. buy rechargeable, and get the most powerful one, you won't regret it.

Notice 'squerril resistant' not 'proof'. I bought one of these, costly it was. My squirrel figured it out. First the roof locking mechanism wears easily and will need to be reinforced. I wrote them, no responce. Second a long bodied squirrel can hang from the top or side of the feeder and access the seed without pressing the bar. This feeder needs a redesign. Not true…had this up for a year without squirrels but a few days ago..the squirrel found the feeder - 8 feet off the ground. Don’t kid yourself- squirrels do climb windows. I nicknamed him Spider Squirrel.

I don't know why they don't make the single catchers a bit longer. Their little tails often get stuck. I hate that.
